Writing Rotations – Video Diagram

This video originally featured in the article ‘Video Diagrams – Help your students visualize your instructions.’

This video isn’t an instructional video but an explanation of a classroom activity.

This activity is a  great way to encourage collaborative writing in class. Students work in groups of four with one student nominated as writer.

The writer moves between groups introducing and adding to their writing. When they return to their original group they have a piece of writing that the whole class has worked on.
