Merging Shapes (Jigsaw Phrases)

Merging is a useful technique for creating custom shapes. Merge two or three rectangles together and they can cover parts of phrases but they will also resemble jigsaw pieces. Covering parts of phrases encourages students to recall what they have learnt in the previous class.

This video will show you how to create a PowerPoint slide that uses merged shapes in this way.
